DURKL show presented by The Carry Out & 7Cs

The good folks from The Carry Out & 7Cs teamed up with internationally known & locally loved streetwear line DURKL to throw one of the illest in-stores D.C. has ever seen. I had the pleasure of hosting & performing at this show along with some of my friends, who also happen to be some of my favorite MCs. Due to some software issues, I haven’t been able to edit the footage I’ve got but, a few people got some video of their own so peep the visuals.

Girls I Like: Mara Hruby

I instantly fell in love with this girl like, before I even heard her sing. I first got a glimpse of Mara Hruby after watching Quadron‘s video for Simili Life. I thought she had a subtle yet, stunning beauty & was a fan ever since. Then to my surprise, I found out she was also an incredibly soulful singer. After that I went to search for some of her music & found her EP “From Her Eyes”. It was doper than I could’ve imagined, which is exactly why Mara Hruby is one of the girls I like.

Young Scolla – Skinny Kid ft. Machine Gun Kelly (Prod. by Big Soj)

Words from Young Scolla:
I just wrapped up my debut album with Atlanta based production team SMKA entitled \"Seconds Away\". Right now we\'re working towards a June release so while prepping we\'ve decided to let loose a few collaboration records I have leading into the projects release. The first joint I\'m releasing isa record I put together called \"Skinny Kid\" (Prod. By Detroit Producer Big Soj) which features a homie of mine, Cleveland emcee Machine Gun Kelly. This joint isn\'t featured on Seconds Away. Enjoy.

To top it off, super-producer & living hip-hop legend 9th Wonder randomly showed up. It was an awesome night & I’m glad to have shared it with 2 of my partners in rhyme. Peep the visuals.

Black John Jay – CCK [Video]

The internet has become a place overrun all forms of fuckery but, every now & then I come across some really dope & creative people that I connect with on various levels. This brother & his crew are some of those people. His music is official & trust me, he’s got a lot more stuff in the works. Peep the visuals.
