Come through Art Under Pressure tonight to catch some of the dopest up-and-coming MCS in Washington, D.C.
The Queen Erykah Badu will be spinning as her turntablist alter ego known as DJ Lo Down Loretta Brown in San Francisco on May 3rd. If Ms. Badu is anywhere near as good a DJ as she is a performer (which I’m sure she is) this is an event you definitely won’t want to miss.

Brought to you by Ankh Marketing.
If you’re out in San Francisco make sure you check out The Roots’ own Questlove doing a live DJ set alongside DJ Sake one at Yoshi’s (1330 Fillmore St San Francisco, CA) brought to you by none other than the homies at Ankh Marketing.

Peace, fam. This is the show that I did out in San Francisco with Jasiri X, StaHHr, Kelow, Dead Prez, & Ab-Soul & a bunch of other dope performers. It was my first time going to San Francisco but I had a blast & the love out there was incredible. Peep some of the pics & video below. More pics to come.
Even though I grew up in South Florida, I never really knew it for it’s artistic side. South Florida’s mostly known for it’s beautiful weather & highly publicized party scene but, not so much for being on the cutting edge of street art & culture. A couple years ago, I went with a friend named Deezy to a place called Wynwood that I had never heard of before. When I went in 2011, everything was locked up or fenced off & no one was legally allowed to check anything out. Of course we broke the rules, snuck inside the fences & went rumbling around. The insane graffiti we saw & raw artistic energy in the air was insane. Little did I know that just a couple years later, Wynwood would be the hub of the worlds artsy & celebrity elite. This time around Wynwood & Miami’s Art District had come alive & had attracted hundreds of thousands if not more to check out the scene. I had a dope time, went to a few dope parties, & kicked it with a lot of good friends. I’ll definitely be back next year to enjoy the festivities.
Catch me hosting & performing Saturday night March, 23rd at MOCA DC ( Museum of Contemporary Art Georgetown – 1054 31st St NW Washington, DC 20007 ).
The line-up is pretty epic so you know its gonna be one of the illest hip-hop shows to happen this year & the perfect way to kick off the spring. Make sure you slide through & peep the incredible raps.
