My little brother NAPPY NAPPA is one of the 1st artists on my DOPE SINCE ’88 label & BMCNN is not only the 1st project besides one of my own to release from the label, it’s also NAPPA‘s 1st full project, ever. I can honestly say that I’m super proud of this album & proud of NAPPA for being so passionate, creative, & focused all at the age of only 17. I wish I knew what I wanted to do or even knew the shit that he knew at that age. This project is a journey through the mind of a youth growing up in a crazy world while trying to figure it all out. This is the 1st album I’ve ever executive produced & done the Art Direction for & I think it came out pretty ill. The reception from the supporters & fans has already been amazing. Can’t thank you guys enough. Now, take a listen to BMCNN & watch our Moving Portrait video below to get to know NAPPA a little bit better.
I’ve legit had this shit blasting, on repeat since the 1st day I heard it which is almost a week ago, I’ve just been super busy & haven’t been able to update the site but this shit is super fire. This track is from South Florida’s own Miami Marci & Bobby Biscayne featuring up & coming Atlanta representers Two 9. This song is a certified street anthem. I’ve legit had this shit on blast in the crib, in the car, everywhere bruh. Bump this shit once or twice & you’ll feel where I’m coming from.
“From the MIA to the ATL boy!/Biscayne, Two9 & we in the field boy!”
Yo! So I decided to just drop this mixtape, not only ’cause it’s part of our #DOPEMUSICMONDAYS releases but, also because I felt the need to show my appreciation to all the listeners supporting me & to really just have fun with this music shit. I decided to go over some of my favorite industry beats from Old School, New School, East Coast, West Coast, Dirty South, even took it on some Reggae shit as well as R&B. All songs were recorded & engineered by yours truly. Check the tape out, hope you dig it! Peace!
This is the latest project by my big homie Doe Cigapom & renowned DMV Producer Drew Dave. They just released their joint project titled L.A.W.K.I. (Life As We Know It). I’ve known Doe for years & he’s not only been one of the most genuine & supportive people I ever met, he’s also one of the illest MCs I ever met from then ’til now. The album is filled with real revolutionary street knowledge & emotion that niggas need to hear over incredible Drew Dave production. Stream the album below & head to Doe Cigapom‘s Bandcamp & buy a copy to support the homie.
Yo! I’ll be back in D.C. to host #ElectricPunannyDC on March 30th at U Street Music Hall. The show is part of Melo-X & Jasmine Solano‘s tour series that started in Austin for SXSW this year. The homies Mista Selecta & Mane Squeeze are the guest DJs & I gotta thank them for flying me in with the opportunity to host such an epic event. If you’ll be in D.C. make sure you come through!

Ok fam, this is the 5th & final #DOPEMUSICMONDAYS release for today by who else but yours truly STEFisDOPE. I fucked with the original Trophies so heavy that I had to drop my own remix. Drake spit a lot of real shit & swagged out heavily so needless to say I felt compelled to do the same. Peep the joint below as well as the rest of the releases today.
